The Jaipur Dialogues
Template:Infobox recurring event
The Jaipur Dialogues is a conference, discussion, and a book-launch platform based in Jaipur, India, which also has an online video channel on YouTube, and considers it's primary objective as the promotion of a nationalist Indic truth and narrative.[1] The Jaipur Dialogues is the flagship brand of the Jaipur Dialogues Forum, a non-profit organization headed by ex-IAS officer, Sanjay Dixit. [2][3] The forum regularly organizes annual conference event, besides many smaller events throughout the year.
The annual event and the smaller events have been held in Jaipur since 2016. The 2017 event was attended by famous personalities from all sides of the intellectual discourse, but the event carried a significant Indic perspective. The online platform holds daily and Weekly discussions on topics considered relevant to the nationalist agenda. [4]
The first event was held in November 2016, while the second annual event was held in November 2017. More recently in November 2020, the fifth annual event of the Jaipur Dialogues was held. [5]
Indic Narrative
Jaipur Dialogues is a platform to create a parallel media as opposed to the mainstream left-leaning Lutyens media. The platform attempts to create a narrative of the Indic wing of India which they call the Dharmic Wing. The Jaipur Dialogues believes that there is neither a left-wing nor a right-wing in India and that India should be governed by the Dharmic ideology. They aim to create awareness among Indians about the History of India and Sanatana Dharma. Sanjay Dixit has taken a lead in this initiative of creating awareness among Indians and fellow Hindus about their Dharma and holds sessions with prominent guests on similar lines. The Jaipur Dialogues [archive] have been successful in voicing the concerns for the Free temple movement which was reflected in the BJP manifesto in the 2021 Tamil Nadu elections. The Jaipur Dialogues also strongly opposed the Halal meat and this cause was taken up by VHP, which promoted Jhatka as their official policy. The Jaipur Dialogues strongly opposed the propaganda-based history by the Marxist authors in the post-independence era which whitewashed the atrocities against Hindus and projected Mughals as benevolent rulers. This pressure and awareness also resulted in changing of the UGC syllabus.
Earlier in March 2018, a small academic event was held with David Frawley, Sanjay Dixit and Abhijit Chavda attending. The topics for discussion included 'Collapse of Aryan Invasion Theory' and 'Relationship of Quantum theory and Relativity with Vedanta'. They also have a prize of 2 crore rupees, to anyone who can prove the Aryan Invasion theory.
The Jaipur dialogues now aims at translating the Fatawa Alamgiri in Hindi to make the Indians aware of that ideology in the sub-continent.
Online Video Sessions
The Jaipur Dialogues conducts three sessions a day for five days of week. Sanjay Dixit who is the Chairman of Jaipur Dialogues hosts these sessions with prominent guests from different fields. The Jaipur Dialogues channel on YouTube currently has more than a thousand videos that the users can access free of cost. These videos range on diverse topics from spirituality, Sanatana Dharma, Ayurveda, History to modern age topics like artificial intelligence, national security, current political happenings, etc. The live sessions are divided into two parts: In the first part, the guest is interviewed by Sanjay Dixit and in the second part the floor is opened for the audience to ask their questions to the guest. The live sessions of the channel are very popular among audiences and the channel has achieved a feat of reaching 250k Youtube subscribers in just a year.
Indic Corner
The Jaipur Dialogues website has the popular Indic Corner where the team posts articles and views on various topics. These articles are an attempt to expand the Indic narrative in the Digital Print media. The Indic corner has various articles on topics like Politics, Islam, Sanatana Dharma, History, Economics, Law and Justice, Strategic and Military issues, and Global Issues.
Sanjay Dixit
Sanjay Dixit is a former bureaucrat who holds the chairmanship of The Jaipur Dialogues. He is considered one of the top torch-bearers in making Hindus aware of their past.He was also the Ex-President of Rajasthan Cricket Association and currently among the best-selling authors in India for his books: Krishna Yogeshwara, Krishna Gopeshvara, and Unbreaking India. Dixit did his graduation in Marine Engineering and sailed with the Merchant Navy for 4 years before joining the Indian Adminstrative Service in 1986. The Jaipur Dialogues platform is a brainchild of Mr. Sanjay Dixit who felt the need to place the Indic narrative in front of audiences. Sanjay Dixit took the lead for The Jaipur Dialogues because the current mainstream platforms and literature fests were driven by a specific agenda and completely sidelined the Dharmic view which is the core of Indian Civilization. Sanjay Dixit is very vocal about the Dharmic ideology and is also invited as a guest in multiple YouTube channels for the same.
