Boosting your immune system can play a critical role. Here are some ways to boost your immune system:
Antibodies and natural immunity[edit]
About Covid-19 in India, Dr. Boosche says: India has recently been witnessing a spectacular decline in cases .... This is unambiguous proof that the steep decline in cases was primarily caused by immune defense mechanisms that were not based on protection from disease (as provided by Covid-19 vaccines) but on protection from infection and transmission (as provided by natural immunity). [1]
About 70 per cent of Indians have Covid antibodies[2]
It has been claimed that studies indicate that a very large percentage of the population have immune system memory from previous coronavirus infections.[3]
Two-Thirds Of Indians Have Been Exposed To COVID-19 and have Sars-CoV-2 antibodies.[4]
Sports and physical activities[edit]
- Diet, exercise, lose weight
- Training routine and workout. As a minimum, the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans recommend 150-300 minutes per week of moderate intensity aerobic physical activity, and 2 sessions per week of muscle strength training.
- Yoga exercises
- Avoiding Junk Food and chemical residues (see Big Food and Big Ag)
- Outdoor activities. Sunshine increases Vitamin D levels, virus transmission occurs more easily indoors.
- Pulse oximeter, checks to see how much oxygen your blood is carrying.

Drugs and treatments to avoid[edit]
- Remdesivir is poisonous and has no clinical efficacy against Covid-19. Vera Sharav says, “Dr. Fauci had a vested interest in remdesivir. He sponsored the clinical trial whose detailed results were not subject to the peer review he demanded for the drugs he regarded as rivals, like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Instead of showing transparent data and convincing results, he did ‘science’ by fiat. He simply declared the disappointing results to be ‘highly significant,’ and pronounced remdesivir to be the new ‘standard of care.’[41]
- Paracetamol[42]
- Midazolam[43]
- Ventilator
- fluvoxamine[44] (although some sources are more positive about it, see Fluvoxamine: The evidence [archive])
- Vaccines
Hydroxychloroquine[edit]
- For Big Pharma, no milestone was more important during the current pandemic than neutralizing HCQ to prevent its widespread beneficial use. — Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Hydroxychloroqine (C18H26ClN3O), also known as HCQ, is an inexpensive medication sold under the name Plaquenil.[45] Prior to COVID-19 it was most commonly used to treat malaria, and also currently to treat lupus. American soldiers, such as Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, have successfully taken this medication for decades as a prophylaxis. The package insert for Plaquenil describes its mostly minor potential side effects,[46] some of which occur only at much higher doses than what is used to treat COVID-19.
It has been used by the physician Dr. Vladimir Zelenko as a part of successful treatment for coronavirus and was recommended for such by President Trump (see: Vladimir Zelenko's coronavirus treatment). Specifically, Dr. Zelenko used hydroxychloroqine, azithromycin (an antibiotic) and zinc as a part of his treatments to his patients.[47]
China, South Korea, and India all use hydroxychloroquine to successfully combat the effects of COVID-19. Italy reversed interference with its use for treating COVID-19 there, and approved its use with this statement: ""The continuing uncertainty about the therapeutic efficacy of hydroxychloroquine, declared by Aifa to justify its continued evaluation, evaluation in randomized clinical trials - is not a sufficient legal reason to justify the unreasonable suspension of its use on the Italian territory by treating physicians."[48]
Never-Trumpers in government and hospitals block early use of this medication, and instead either withhold it from patients entirely or delay it until the end stage of the patient's life when medications are least effective. Other governments (such as Texas) initially permitted it only with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, which delayed patients' access to the medication when it is most effective: early in the progression of the disease, or as a prophylactic.
[edit]
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) allows hydroxychloroquine to be used as an off-label coronavirus treatment.
According to WebMD.com: "The practice, called 'off-label" prescribing, is entirely legal and very common. More than one in five outpatient prescriptions written in the U.S. are for off-label therapies."[49] In other words, originally approved for use in humans as an anti-malarial drug, it can be prescribed by a treating physician for other uses.
Hydroxychloroquine allows zinc to penetrate the cellular wall to a larger degree.[50] Zinc is an antiviral.[51]
Chloroquine + Zinc
- Hydroxychloroquine + Azithromycin
total 2000 mg hydroxychloroquine sulfate or 1550 mg base. Acute attack: 800 mg (620 mg base) orally followed in 6 to 8 hours by 400 mg (310 mg base), then 400 mg (310 mg base) once a day for 2 consecutive days; alternatively, a single dose of 800 mg (620 mg base) has also been effective 800mg+400mgX3 = 2000mg [6000mg=3] bodyweight 1.6g arthritis:-Initial dose: 400 to 600 mg (310 to 465 mg base) orally once a day to optimum response (usually 4 to 12 weeks)-Maintenance dose: 200 to 400 mg (155 to 310 mg base) orally once a day
After 3 days of treatment and if symptoms have not markedly improved, FLCCC recommends to consider antibiotics with your physician.[52]
Doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 5 days (Doxycycline may act synergistically with ivermectin and might be the antibiotic of first choice.); OR Azithromycin (Z-pack) 500 mg day 1, then 250 mg daily for 4 days; [Extended-release: 2 g orally once as a single dose] OR Amoxicillin/Clavulanate (Augmentin) 500 mg/125 mg tablet twice daily for 7 days.[53]
Studies[edit]
On May 30, 2020, the Grand Rapids Herald-Review stated:
“ | Dr. Vladimir Zelenko serves as a Primary Care Physician in suburban New York City—the epicenter of this outbreak. “I knew that the virus would hit our area hard due to our population density—we have 32,000 people living in one square mile. So I did my own research looking at what had been done in other countries that experienced the virus before us as well as looking at treatments developed for the SARS-CoVid-1 outbreak in 2003 (another coronavirus). I developed my own protocol of a three drug cocktail: HCL, Azithromycin, and Zinc. In the last few weeks I have seen 1,450 patients with COVID symptoms. I divided my patients into two groups: high risk and low risk. The low risk patients (under age 60 and healthy) statistically get better without treatment, so I sent them home to rest and get over the virus. I gave my drug cocktail to 405 high risk patients (over age 60 or with underlying health problems) whose conditions were most severe. The accepted rate of COVID mortality at that time for high risk patients was 5%, so if I had just relied on ventilators I could have expected to see 20 of my patients die. But using these three drugs I only lost two patients, one of which was very old and had been chronically ill. This was a significant order of magnitude better than expected outcomes.”
Dr. Zelenko explains the rationale behind his treatment program. “The zinc is what kills the virus and zinc occurs naturally in the body but has a hard time penetrating the cell where the virus lives. What the hydroxychloroquine does is open a channel into the cell so the zinc can enter and stop the virus from replicating. Adding an extra dose of zinc to the cocktail has been shown to improve outcomes by about 25%. Meanwhile, the azithromycin stands guard to combat any secondary bacterial infection that may crash the party and cause pneumonia.” After seeing the effectiveness of his treatment regimen, Dr. Zelenko stated, “I realized what I had, and I felt like a front line soldier who had stumbled across some very important intelligence—some valuable information that needed to be communicated to the 5-star general because that information could be used to win the war.” Within a few weeks, Dr. Zelenko had published video reports of his findings and was in touch not only with the US Coronavirus Taskforce, but with over a dozen governments around the world from Russia, to South Africa, to Peru. Four weeks ago the government of Brazil began implementing Dr. Zelenko’s protocol, and he explains their results: “One week ago the Brazilians published a study revealing a 95% reduction in deaths after this drug cocktail was introduced for use in their government hospitals.”[54] |

"Early Hydroxychloroquine Is Associated with an Increase of Survival," reports a study in Spain on May 5, 2020:[55]
- Methods: We enrolled all 18-85 years old inpatients from Central Defense Hospital “Gómez Ulla”, Madrid, Spain, who were hospitalised for COVID-19 and had a definitive outcome (dead or discharged). We used a statistical survival analysis to detect treatment differences associated with in-hospital death. Results: We analysed first 220 medical records. 166 patients met the inclusion criteria. 48,8 % of patients not treated with HCQ died, 22% of those treated with hydroxychloroquine (p=0,002). According to clinical picture at admission, hydroxychloroquine increased the mean cumulative survival in all groups from 1,4 to 1,8 times. This difference was statistically significant in the mild group.
- Conclusions: in a cohort of 166 patients from 18 to 85 years hospitalised with COVID-19, hydroxychloroquine treatment with 800mg added loading dose increased survival when patients were admitted in early stages of the disease. There was a non-statistically significant trend towards survival in all groups, which will have to be clarified in subsequent studies.
A study in Mexico reported in September 2020 on success using hydroxychloroquine in hospitalized patients.[56]
Mechanism[edit]
HCQ inhibits the cytokine storm. Professor Raoult of France has suggested additional ways that HCQ helps block COVID-19 replication:
1. HCQ inhibits the attachment of the amino acid region 111-158 of the viral spike of COVID-19 to gangliosides
2. The COVID-19 replicative cycle that could be inhibited by HCQ is the pH-dependent viral endocytosis.
3. Transcription could be impeded by HCQ.
4. HCQ may block the posttranslational modifications of viral proteins within the endoplasmic reticulum and trans-Golgi network vesicles, perhaps by impairing the maturation of its M protein [113].
5. HCQ could be helpful concerning cell-signaling, in particular through MAPK
CDC[edit]
From the CDC:[57]
- "Hydroxychloroquine can be prescribed to adults and children of all ages. It can also be safely taken by pregnant women and nursing mothers."
- "CDC has no limits on the use of hydroxychloroquine for the prevention of malaria. When hydroxychloroquine is used at higher doses for many years, a rare eye condition called retinopathy has occurred. People who take hydroxychloroquine for more than five years should get regular eye exams."
[edit]
The usefulness of zinc to HCQ treatments is explained by a study published in September 2020, "Hydroxychloroquine, a drug used initially in the management of COVID-19, is an ionophore that transports Zinc across the hydrophobic cell membrane. Moreover, evidences specifically suggest that Zinc supplemented with antiviral drugs containing Zinc-ionophores precisely targets and binds to SARS-CoV-2 preventing its replication within the infected host cells2."[58]
According to the website ResearchGate.net: "Several studies have reported that zinc has a broad-spectrum antiviral activity against a variety of viruses. Increased intracellular Zinc concentrations inhibit RNA-dependent RNA polymerases and other proteins essential for the completion of different phases of the virus life cycle. Further, zinc also helps to maintain robust immune responses by producing cytokine and by modulation of immune cell activity."[59]
Reduction in binding effect[edit]
Hydroxychlorquine reportedly "directly reduces the binding of antiphospholipid antibody–β2-glycoprotein I complexes to phospholipid bilayers":[60]
Azithromycin[edit]
Azithromycin, commonly known as Zpak or Zmax, are anti-bacterial medicines used to treat common infections.
Paired with Hydroxychloroquine and Zinc, Zpaks have shown some promise against the COVID-19.[61]
Study on hydroxychloroquine (2020) in The Lancet[edit]
On 22 May 2020, The Lancet published an article by Mehra et al., "Hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine with or without a macrolide for treatment of COVID-19: a multinational registry analysis".[62] This study, based on retrospective observational review of 96,032 patients from 671 hospitals between 20 December 2019 and 14 April 2020, had an immediate impact; the WHO decided to stop all the clinical trials on hydroxychloroquine.[63]
On 26 May 2020, Australian researchers found an error: only 67 deaths from COVID-19 had been recorded in Australia by 21 April, where the study claims 73. The Lancet told Guardian Australia, "We have asked the authors for clarifications, we know that they are investigating urgently, and we await their reply." Surgisphere's Sapan Desai said a hospital from Asia had accidentally been included in the Australian data.[64]
On 28 May some 180 researchers and doctors from various countries published An open letter to Richard Horton, editor of The Lancet, regarding Mehra et al.[65] The following day, The Lancet published a corrected version.[66] According to the authors, the corrections did not change the overall findings of no benefit.[67] However, on 2 June 2020, The Lancet published an "Expression of Concern" and began an independent audit commissioned by the authors.[68]
On 3 June 2020, the WHO announced that clinical trials of hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine will be discontinued. The following day, three of the four authors retracted the paper,[69] and The Lancet published a retraction of the study.[70][71]

Zev Vladimir Zelenko, M.D. is a New York State doctor who has treated over 1,450 coronavirus patients using hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and zinc sulfate with 99.9% success rate (2 deaths).[72] He explained his treatment in an open letter [archive] to President Trump.
With his first 350 coronavirus patients in March of 2020, Zelenko had a 100% success using hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and zinc.[73] There were no hospitalizations, intubations or deaths among Zelenko's first 350 patients.[74] On March 27, 2020, Zelenko indicated that he treated 699 patients with no deaths or intubations, whereas the national average in the United States is 1.5% of coronavirus patients dying.[75] As of March 27, 2020, four patients of Dr. Zelenko have been hospitalized with pneumonia, and none of them required respirators.[75]
Dr. Vladimir Zelenko's treatment resulted in various patients' shortness-of-breath issues being resolved in as early as four hours and on average 12 hours.[76]

[edit]
Zinc (Zn) is one of the chemical elements and a mineral essential for bodily health. But it is a metal, and in order for it to be transmitted around the body and available for metabolic use, it must be present in a chemically reacted form called an ion. Zinc, the element, has two electrons in the outer shell of each atom. When each zinc atom combines with a non-metallic molecule lacking two electrons from having a complete outer shell or complete binding site, it loses those electrons, and they are gained by the non-metal, the two forming a chemical salt. The ionic zinc can then move freely and interact with other non-metals and participate in diverse chemical reactions.
In its metabolic use, that non-metal part of the salt can be any kind that is not harmful to the body. However in the science of medical testing, one single kind of non-metal ought to be chosen to insure that improvements or detriments to the body found in testing is not caused by variations in that non-metal, but rather the effectiveness of the metallic ion. Even the same non-metal itself should be one that is thought to be inert, for the same reason, and the non-metal that Dr. Zelenko chose was the elementary compound sulfate (SO4).
Further, zinc also helps to maintain robust immune responses by producing cytokine and by modulation of immune cell activity."[81]
[edit]
Azithromycin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic.[82]
For treating coronavirus (Covid-19) patients, the pharmaceutical company Pfizer announced positive data for the use of its drug azithromycin (Zithromax) when used in combination with anti-malarial drug hydroxychloroquine.[83]
A clinical trial was performed in France with 20 patients, six of which were also administered with azithromycin.[84]
According to Drugs.com:
“ | The World Health Organization (WHO) is very clear that antibiotics do not work against viruses, only bacteria, and yet health care providers are using antibiotics in some patients with COVID-19. This is because:
Patients with viral pneumonia can develop a secondary bacterial infection that may need to be treated with an antibiotic, although this complication is reported to be uncommon early on in the course of COVID-19 pneumonia. If treatment is required for a secondary bacterial infection then a range of antibiotics can be used such as penicillins (ampicillin plus sulbactam [Unasyn], piperacillin plus tazobactam [Zosyn]), macrolides (azithromycin), cephalosporins (ceftriaxone [Rocephin]), aminoglycosides (tobramycin) and glycopeptides (vancomycin [Vancocin HCL]) for example. Often a combination of two different antibiotics is used. Azithromycin is also thought to have antiviral and anti-inflammatory activity and may work synergistically with other antiviral treatments. In in vitro laboratory studies azithromycin has demonstrated antiviral activity against Zika virus and against rhinoviruses, which cause the common cold.[85] |

Dr. Zelenko treats his coronavirus patients in his office and gives his treatment protocol for some patients who are experiencing shortness of breath.[86][87] For milder cases of coronavirus, he does not use the combination of hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and zinc.[88][89]
As noted above, Dr. Vladimir Zelenko's treatment resulted in various patients' shortness-of-breath issues being resolved in as early as four hours and on average 12 hours.[76]
Zelenko believes that the majority of the young and healthy people with no preexisting conditions that make them vulnerable to the coronavirus are able to recover from coronavirus without the use of his treatment of hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and zinc.[90]
Because Zelenko uses his treatment as an early intervention, he uses "slightly lower doses" of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin than are commonly used to treat coronavirus patients that are being treated in the hospitals.[91]
Zelenko indicates his treatment of hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and zinc reduces the viral load of his patients, and that it aids the body's immune system, so it has time to combat the coronavirus infection.[92]
Zelenko uses his treatment as an early intervention to prevent lung damage and endangerment to life caused by acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).[93][94]
Zelenko argues that many hospitals are being inundated with patients, so his in-office treatments are a useful means of alleviating pressure on the hospital system.[95][96] In addition, Zelenko argues that many medical supplies are experiencing shortages.[97]
[edit]
According to The Philippine Star:
“ | REGARDING Vladimir Zelenko, the 46-year-old family doctor who gained attention after he reported a 100-percent COVID-19 recovery score, here is a part of his March 23 open letter “to all medical professionals around the world” (copy sent to President Trump):
“My name is Dr. Zev Zelenko and I practice medicine in Monroe, NY. For the last 16 years, I have cared for approximately 75 percent of the adult population of Kiryas Joel, which is a very close-knit community of approximately 35,000 people in which the infection spreads rapidly and unchecked prior to the imposition of social distancing. “As of today my team has tested approximately 200 people from this community for COVID-19, and 65 percent of the results have been positive. If extrapolated to the entire community, that means more than 20,000 people are infected at the present time. Of this group, I estimate that there are 1,500 patients who are in the high-risk category (i.e. >60, immunocompromised, comorbidities, etc). “Given the urgency of the situation, I developed the following treatment protocol in the pre-hospital setting and have seen only positive results: 1. Any patient with shortness of breath regardless of age is treated. 2. Any patient in the high-risk category even with just mild symptoms is treated. 3. Young, healthy and low-risk patients even with symptoms are not treated (unless their circumstances change and they fall into category 1 or 2). “My out-patient treatment regimen is as follows: 1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for five days. 2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for five days. 3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for five days. [Editor's note: 50mg of elemental zinc, as it is commonly sold as a vitamin, is the equivalent of 220mg of zinc sulfate] “The rationale for my treatment plan is as follows. I combined the data available from China and South Korea with a recent study published from France (cites available on request). We know that hydroxychloroquine helps Zinc enter the cell. We know that Zinc slows viral replication within the cell. Regarding the use of azithromycin, I postulate it prevents secondary bacterial infections. These three drugs are well known and usually well-tolerated, hence the risk to the patient is low. “Since last Thursday, my team has treated approximately 350 patients in Kiryas Joel and another 150 patients in other areas of New York with the above regimen. “Of this group and the information provided to me by affiliated medical teams, we have had ZERO deaths, ZERO hospitalizations, and ZERO intubations. In addition, I have not heard of any negative side effects other than approximately 10 percent of patients with temporary nausea and diarrhea. “In sum, my urgent recommendation is to initiate treatment in the outpatient setting as soon as possible in accordance with the above. Based on my direct experience, it prevents acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), prevents the need for hospitalization and saves lives.”[98] |

Ivermectin[edit]
- In some states Ivermectin is not available ... it used to be part of the treatment plan of the Indian health ministry and then WHO came and changed it, in some states they listened to the WHO and so now WHO is at the center of controversy in India because they have interfered and changed what the Indian authorities and government and states were doing... Here is this Big Brother WHO with a big stick able to switch Indian policies. — Rajiv Malhotra [99]
- I think that the states in India that broke free from the WHO saved hundreds of thousands of lives. I think the leader in India in use of Ivermectin in their public health response in the pandemic is Uttar Pradesh and I think they have outperformed almost anywhere in the world. The most forward thinking and the ones that broke free from the WHO they did phenomenal well and I think they should be an example to the rest of India. — Pierre Kory [100]
- Many Indian officials and doctors consider ivermectin a miracle drug for controlling the outbreak. A natural experiment involving two Indian states—Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu—with opposite COVID strategies helped cement that impression. — Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Ivermectin is an off-patent (generic), inexpensive medication which is considered by some to be an effective treatment for COVID-19 as suggested by numerous, constantly updated studies compiled online and by peer-reviewed studies worldwide.[101] The Chairman of the Japanese medical association announced in late August 2021 that physicians should use ivermectin to treat Covid-19, but it continues to be suppressed by liberals in the United States. "A 5-day course of ivermectin was found to be safe and effective in treating adult patients with mild COVID-19," according to a study published in a journal posted by the NIH's National Library of Medicine.[102]
Ivermectin is still being attacked by health authorities, also in India. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has discontinued the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for the management of coronavirus.[103] The ICMR is instead recommending that COVID-19 patients be given remdesivir, which is known to be extremely harmful and even deadly.[104] Dr. Justin R. Hope said: “Delhi did it right. The United States and Tamil Nadu did it wrong. It cost half a million precious lives and horrific pain and suffering for the world. The pandemic was prolonged for no good reason.” “Now, we are in a different position. We as a people have absolute evidence of ivermectin’s efficacy. In Delhi, we heard not one single story of ivermectin being toxic or causing any difficulty. On the contrary, it is safe, and it saved tens of thousands from COVID.”[105]
Ivermectin has been described as:
“ | a cheap, safe drug designed to treat parasites that had almost no known side effects ....
“We kind of thought, well, there’s no negatives to taking this,” said [a COVID patient]. “It’s not going to have any really bad side effects. If it could help, why not?” Within 24 hours, her fever was gone. After two days, Coutts felt completely herself again.[106] |
” |
The NIH wrote:
“ | Ivermectin is a drug that many people will never have heard of. Yet thousands of villagers of all ages in communities scattered throughout the remotest parts of Africa and Latin America know its name, and some experts regard it as one of the greatest health interventions of the past 50 years. Ivermectin was brought to the commercial market place for multi-purpose use in animal health in 1981. Six years later it was registered for human use. This remarkable compound has improved the lives and productivity of billions of humans, livestock and pets around the globe, and promises to help consign to the history books two devastating and disfiguring diseases that have plagued people throughout the tropics for generations–while new uses for it are continually being found.[107] | ” |
The Uttar Pradesh government sent out health kits and medicines to infected Covid-19 patients, the kit includes Azitromycin, Ivermectin, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Zinc, etc.[108]
Studies[edit]
Researchers at Queen Mary, University of London, published a paper in August 2021 which concluded that:
“ | from the Bayesian meta-analysis for patients with severe Covid-19, the mean probability of death without ivermectin treatment is 22.9%, whilst with the application of ivermectin treatment it is 11.7%[109] | ” |
In the summer of 2021, a peer-reviewed journal found significant benefits from ivermectin:[110]
“ | Moderate-certainty evidence finds that large reductions in COVID-19 deaths are possible using ivermectin. Using ivermectin early in the clinical course may reduce numbers progressing to severe disease. The apparent safety and low cost suggest that ivermectin is likely to have a significant impact on the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic globally. | ” |
A majority of studies show that ivermectin has been effective for early treatment and prophylactic use.[111]
A high dose (600 or 1200 μg/kg for 5 consecutive days) has been used in some tests.[112]
The I MASK protocol recommends 0.4-0.6 mg/kg daily for 5 days for early treatment.[113]
FDA Stance[edit]
The FDA generally opposes, disparages, and downplays the benefits of early treatment for COVID-19.
The FDA has publicized isolated reports of patients who have required medical support and been hospitalized after self-medicating with ivermectin intended for horses. Ivermectin has been approved as safe by the FDA and thus can be used when prescribed "off-label" for new uses, such as treating COVID-19.
Ivermectin tablets are approved at specific doses for some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an anti-viral (a drug for treating viruses). Taking large doses of this drug is dangerous and can cause serious harm. Ivermectin preparations for animals are very different from those approved for humans.[114]
Randomized Trial Negative Results[edit]
Double-blind, randomized trial that included 476 patients and conducted at a single site in Cali, Colombia, did not support the use of ivermectin for treatment of mild COVID-19. Larger trials may be needed to understand the effects of ivermectin on other clinically relevant outcomes. [115]
University of Oxford Study[edit]
The University of Oxford in the UK has added ivermectin to the Platform Randomised Trial of Treatments in the Community for Epidemic and Pandemic Illnesses (PRINCIPLE) study for the treatment of Covid-19. In small pilot studies, early use of ivermectin was able to lower viral load and the duration of symptoms in some mild Covid-19 patients. [116]
WHO disinformation campaign against Ivermectin[edit]
On 25 May 2021, the Indian Bar Association (IBA) served a 51-page legal notice on Dr Soumya Swaminathan, the Chief Scientist at the World Health Organisation (WHO), for: [H]er act of spreading disinformation and misguiding the people of India, in order to fulfil her agenda.”
The Mumbai-based IBA is an association of lawyers who strive to bring transparency and accountability to the Indian justice system. It is actively involved in the dissemination of legal knowledge and provides guidance and support to advocates and ordinary people in their fight for justice.
The legal notice says Dr Swaminathan has been:
Running a disinformation campaign against Ivermectin by deliberate suppression of effectiveness of drug Ivermectin as prophylaxis and for treatment of COVID-19, despite the existence of large amounts of clinical data compiled and presented by esteemed, highly qualified, experienced medical doctors and scientists,”
And: Issuing statements in social media and mainstream media, thereby influencing the public against the use of Ivermectin and attacking the credibility of acclaimed bodies/institutes like ICMR and AIIMS, Delhi, which have included ‘Ivermectin’ in the ‘National Guidelines for COVID-19 management’.”
The IBA states that legal action is being taken against Dr Swaminathan in order to stop her from causing further damage to the lives of citizens of India.[117]
