You can help with the tasks listed below! This list updates frequently, so check back here for more tasks to try. Fix and add categories Fix wikilinks Update with new information Expand short articles Check and add references Write articles Improve lead sections Add an image Translate and clean up New Users Please note that due to spam, some edits and functions have been disabled for new users. New user accounts will be upgraded to confirmed status after a few days (see below). If you experience any issues, please let us know. For instance, edits by new users may be sent to moderation. Until the moderator approves this edit, the page is unchanged. The user can see his/her edit and continue editing his/her own version of the page. This is one of the most effective anti-vandal protection methods and has very little impact on legitimate users. Several actions on Dharmapedia are restricted to user accounts which were created a certain number of days ago and which have made a certain number of edits or to active users (who have been active in the past few months). Users who meet these requirements are considered part of the group 'confirmed'. The conditions for confirmed status are checked every time a user attempts to perform a restricted action; if they are met, permission is granted automatically by the software. Although the precise requirements for confirmed status vary according to circumstances, most user accounts that are more than four days old and have made at least 10 edits are considered confirmed. Users are automatically promoted into the autoconfirmed users group of established users when their account is more than four days old and has ten edits, and the 'extended confirmed' user group later on.
